Laivas kokle

The kokle has an additional wing, which allows for a comfortable hand position for playing and which prolongs its sound. Traditionally, this is expressed in the Latgalian kokle.
It is possible to tune each string two tones higher or lower.
The kokle has 11 strings, wooden pegs, a maple body, and a spruce top.
Kokle length - 95cm, width - 21cm, height (kokle with pins) - 9cm, kokle weight - 1.2kg.
